I recently took my car to get repaired because it had a transmission vibration. They were they only ones in the region that was able to properly diagnose the source of the vibration and so I went ahead and got them to fix it up. I was blown away that not only was the shop spotless, but I had a loan car for the week and the quote was still reasonable and competitive. Months later, I had a timing chain issue, and while I had two other quotes from other mechanics, Anthony Costello offered a loan car for the two weeks they would have my car getting fixed and they were able to take my car in sooner. Whilst they are more expensive, their level of communication and detail about what was going to happen and why, was excellent. It was going to be a big job and while I did shop around, I appreciated Anthony Costello's confidence and the other two shops backed out, saying they didn't want to fix my timing chain issue. Three weeks later, I get the car back and I feel the starter shake the car and a rattle appeared after a few days. I call up concerned and they immediately take my car back in to test it. I was ready to get upset. Back into another loan car, but when a few days go by, they tell me that the Boss was not happy with the repair and everything was going to get sorted out again under warranty. I was then told that the boss road tested the car himself to ensure it worked right and got my car back to me in a few days. While the mistake was theirs, this is why I drove away a satisfied customer. The cost was a bit more for the convenience of a loan car, their confidence to do the harder jobs, and most of all, having the ability to stand behind their brand and fix a $7000 job on warranty. But what made me want to write this review, was that I was getting a small warning on my dash saying one tiny light bulb on my break light needed a replacement. It's literally a $5 part from Super Cheap Auto, and I was planning on getting the bulb and installing it when I got the car back. A simple 2 minute job, even a novice like me can do it. But when I got the car back, the tyres were scrubbed, the car was washed, and my tail light had a completely new bulb. Like, they didn't have to do any of that. I wasn't even mad at them, I was just concerned about the warranty and how expensive the repair was, but they went above and beyond. In the end, it wasn't about the cost of the job, it wasn't about extra service or convenience you get for your money. It was the feeling you get that you know your car was actually taken care of and that they notice the small things and I felt like they actually cared about my crappy second hand, rusty old car. That really mattered to me and while I know getting a car repaired can be expensive and sometimes mechanics can get a bad rap here and there, at least I know these guys care, and they have earned my trust.

It is incredibly reliable with repairs, and they always look to provide the absolute best service. Any time an issue pops up with my car, they look into it quickly and are always happy to accommodate bookings around my availability.
